Vernon Kawall

Vernon Rameshdat Kawall passed away peacefully on December 29, 2021, at East Orange General Hospital, New Jersey at the age of 74. Born in New Amsterdam, Berbice, Guyana to the late parents, Ragobar and Sumintra Kawall. Beloved brother of Veeda (Moses), Hyacinth (Emanuel), Oswald (Nandini), Ronald, Marlene (Saitnauth), and the late Vincent (Naomi) and Rose (Viv). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. After graduating from Berbice High School in Guyana, Vernon was a primary school teacher on the West Coast of Berbice, then emigrated to the US to further his education. Graduated from Quinsigamond Community College and then Worcester State College of Massachusetts, with a BA Degree. He was passionate about reading and Classical music. Vernon would make you feel welcomed. He always tries to make you laugh, and will be truly missed. A short private ceremony will be held at Island Funeral Home, East Orange, NJ on, followed by a cremation. Live Streaming will be provided to observe the ceremony.
