Saint Hubert Albert Obituary

Saint Hubert Albert  was born on September 23, 1954 in Marchand Dessalines, Haiti to the late MomPremier Albert and Ormise Monace. He was the third of seven children, having three brothers and three sisters.  As a child, his absolute favorite sport was soccer. He was raised in the Catholic church and throughout his life, received all his sacraments.

He grew up to become a carpenter and loved what he did. He met the love of his life when they were in middle school and later married on January 25, 1975. A year later, they welcomed their first child. St. Hubert was a man who had big dreams and at the young age of twenty- five decided to take a risk to come to America to provide a better life for his family. While in America he worked several jobs such as Furniture King, shortly after, he was able to immigrate his family over from Haiti. He was a devoted husband and father who worked hard to put all his children through private school and watched them grow into adulthood and prepared them to go out on their own.

He loved to travel. Family trips were particularly important and enjoyable for him. He loved to sing and dance to his favorite bands, Tropicana and System Band, just to name a few.  Saint Hubert was a take charge kind of guy with a deep voice you can hear from miles away.  His memory was sharp as a whip and so was his hearing because he loved to eavesdrop on his children’s conversations.  He was a giving person, a jokester, storyteller and known as easy going, but just remember not to get on his bad side. He would always tell you like it is.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Saint Hubert Albert. As many of you know he  dealt with numerous health issues in recent years. Albert was known as the rock of the family with a strong spirit who never gave up. We feel blessed that he is no longer in suffering and has gone onto his new adventure in heaven.

Saint Hubert will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rose, of almost 50 years, his only son, Bartaly, his daughters: Barbara, Muriame, Fedia, and Christine. His grandchildren:Sheniya, Brianna, Devon, Krasner, Kimora, Christian, Rose, Daisy, Simon, Jayden, Caleesa, and Celine, as well as one great grandchild - Sylas. Saint Hubert will be dearly missed by his siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
