Jesunette Aritus was born in Haiti, in a city called St. Louis of south on April 10, 1951, to Mr. Overnio Aritus and Mrs, Alina Guervil. She Left Haiti in 2011, to come and live in America with his children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community at Salem Park, Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was predeceased by her husband 30 years ago and is survived by her many children and grandchildren. Jesunette Aritus was a homemaker who enjoyed tending to her garden of flowers and vegetables. She was an expert in planting other type of foods to feed her family and trade.
Jesunette Aritus gave her life to Christ many years ago while she was in Haiti, God endued her with special wisdom and love. She dedicated her life in raising her children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. She lived a godly life before others and to her God whom she served. She had great respect for fellow human beings and loved them. She always lent a hand to anyone she would see struggle. She put clothes on the back of many and fed the hungry. She visited many in hospitals, prayed for them and comforted them. She actually fulfilled Matthew 25:34-36 “Then the King will say to those at His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in. I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? And when did we see You sick or in prison and come to You?’ “The King will answer, ‘Truly I say to you, as you have done it for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you have done it for Me.’
When Jesunette Aritus came to America, she joined a Baptised Church where she fellowshipped. She was a dedicated member and was taught more about God’s word. It was not until 2 months ago that she got a revelation of the message of the hour. It was revealed to her by the Holy Spirit what God expected of her in this last hour. She came to realize that there was only on true God. Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord, Deuteronomy 6:4. She also came to know that there was only one true baptism,
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38.
On April 23, 2023, Jesunette Aritus came to Lighthouse Bible Tabernacle in Elizabeth and was baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her heart was right with God and was filled with the Holy Spirit.
On May 15, 2023, she came to church rejoicing, little did we know that it would be her last Sunday and her last Mother’s Day. Her God dimmed it fit to call her to her eternal home and reward. The bible says, “When You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, and they die and return to their dust. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day.”
2 Timothy 4:7-8.
Rest in peace till we meet again.
