Eve Juleus Obituary

Eve Juleus, passed away peacefully on January 20th, 2023, at the age of 95. She was one of eleven children born to the late Jean Philip Oziaste & Clairecena Marcelin on December 27th, 1927, in Desdunes, Haiti. On May 15th, 1948, she married her late husband Leonce Albert Juleus with whom she beared nine children.

In 1993, Eve immigrated to the United States, which became a new home where she created long lived memories and shared her wisdom with her children and family. She was dedicated to help raise three generations of children with her joyful, caring, and nurturing nature. Eve spent long hours in the kitchen cooking, planting seeds, and enjoyed watching her garden flourish.

Eve was devoted to God and served as a faithful servant even in her final days. The church was her second home. She prayed three times day and shared a song every Sunday, which led to a testimony to encourage us all to walk by faith and not by sight. As we remember in 1995, a tragic hit and run accident, which resulted to major bone injuries and a coma for two months. After numerous surgeries, eleven months of rehabilitation, working consistently with medical professionals, and the benediction of many prayer warriors, Eve recovered significantly and was given the opportunity to walk again. She prayed through her pain and was eager to return to church and share her testimony from Proverb 16:9, “We can make our own plans, but the lord determines our final steps.”

Eve will be remembered for her uplifting testimonies, fiery spirit, unmatched strength, and nurturing nature. She leaves to cherish her memories, 4 siblings: Neila Jean Joseph, Emilie Pierreville, Viergela Ozias, Plilistin Ozias; 5 children: Solange Albert Juleus, Pierre Jean Albert Juleus, Marie Claire Jules, Leonie Albert Vital & Ermonde Albert.  14 grandchildren: Cassandra D., Adler J., Batiria J., Jamina Vital, Medjena Vital, Bedins V., Eveline V., Clairemene V., Roger Albert, Santos Albert, Belange Albert, Jordani Albert, Pierre Jr Albert, Virlaine albert.  5 great grandchildren: Theresa H., Sariah H., IsZir albert, Avyana Albert, Promise Albert.  Neveux and Niece: Abline Antoine, Galate Joseph, Renette Therlonge, Roselande Seus, Raymond Metelus, Jean Claude Charles, Violette Metelus, Wisline Charles, Mijette Ozias, Clajames Jean, Filomise Jean, Serana Jean, Phiguese Jean, Veronique Jean, Rochelin Jean, Wilner Jean, Lamanex Norelus.  In low: Mark Elie Julceus, Mme Anola Vital, Mme St Hubert St Phard, and a host of family & friends.
