Dessources was born on February 11, 1946 in L’asile, Haiti to the parentage of the late Generard and Lavinia Vergelin. The youngest of his siblings, Dessources completed his studies in Haiti and moved abroad in 1975 eventually settling in East Orange, NJ.
In December 1978, Dessources returned to Haiti to marry is bride Oditte. He returned to the states to continue building his life and preparing for his new family. In March 1980, he brought his wife and infant daughter Marsha, to the states to be with him. Not too long after in 1982 they were blessed with a son, Cooper.
Dessources had two natural children but he was a father to countless others. He was able to bring his niece Marie Lourdes to the states and helped raised her as his own. This is just one of many examples of his dedication as a family man.
Dessources was an avid fan of Soccer from playing in his youth to watching as an adult. You can ask him about any league, and he would have some knowledge on the matter.
On AUGUST 23, 2020, Dessources was called home to be with his heavenly Father. Sharing the memories of his wonderful life are:
