Clara Dalmacy was born on March 10, 1953, in Artibonite (Haiti) to the late Marie Lacifie Pierre and Prosper Dalmacy.
Clara Dalmacy completed Brevet School in Haiti and later on became a Home Care Attendant.
Clara was very kind, smart, compassionate, and hard working. She lived in Venezuela for many years and as a result, she spoke and read Spanish fluently. After leaving Venezuela, she went back to Haiti and eventually immigrated to the US in 1989.
Clara Dalmacy was very religious; when the Covid-19 outbreak started, she volunteered to lead the church service over the phone and to read the Bible for her fellow church members.
Clara was also very generous and goodhearted. With her assistance, her son Dony obtained his residency status in the US in 2004. Clara lived with her sister Anne Marie, since the 1990’s and she cared for her until her untimely death. Despite her busy schedule, Clara always took the time to check on her friends and family to make sure they were doing all right.
On March 11, 2022, Clara Dalmacy was called home to be with the Lord. Sharing the memories of her selflessness and exemplary life are:
